Club TIS Hotel
(formerly The Everglades Hotel)
TIS clients have been using the Everglades Hotel since 1993 and the feedback was always excellent. The owners decided to retire in 2009 and so we bought the hotel and re-named it Club TIS - our regular clients love it and some are now back for their third visit. It's cosy, convenient and comfortable. A small, but very international hotel! The Club TIS staff do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.
Club TIS Hotel has 12 bedrooms, some with sea-view, and all include:

Complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities
Free wireless internet
The hotel has a charming restaurant leading to a sunny south facing terrace and secluded garden. In addition, the there is wireless internet throughout or guests can choose to use the computer in the Study Room.
Club TIS Hotel is just across the road from the school – less than 60 seconds on foot!
A buffet breakfast is served every morning and in the
evening a small and small guests' kitchen is available for you to prepare a simple supper. The Club TIS Café is open at lunchtime from Monday to Friday with a choice of home cooked hot and cold meals. Please note the café may be closed for lunch from November to March inclusive.
Club TIS is only a few minutes walk to a variety of pubs, cafés and restaurants in the town centre.

Superior rooms are generally larger than the standard rooms - they all have double beds even for single occupants and most of them have sea-views.

This is a group of four hotels of 2, 3 and 4 star standard which are ideal if you are coming with your family as they offer a wide range of entertainment and facilities in their superb indoor/outdoor leisure complex. These hotels are only 15-20 minutes walk from TIS, 15 minutes from the town centre and 10 minutes from the nearest beach.
OTHER HOTELS
Torquay is a holiday resort and so there is a very wide range of small guest houses and several large hotels in the town.
We are not able to make reservations for other hotels or guest houses for you but if you want to ask our opinion of other hotels and whether they are convenient for the school then we will be happy to advise you.
The 4 star standard hotels are The Grand, The Barcelo Imperial and The Palace but there are many others of 2 and 3 star standard which don't have so many facilities but are equally good and offer a very personal and friendly service.
