This mini-group course focusses on General English and there is a maximum of 4 per class according to level.

Who is this course suitable for: This course is for adults who would like to take a short and intensive English Course in the mornings only. It is suitable for improving your English language skills for general or business reasons.
The programme offers a range of English Language topics chosen by the teacher in response to the needs and the level of each class.
We focus on grammar and vocabulary but the aim will be to help everyone to improve their communicative English language skills; whether they are learning for business or professional purposes, general use, travelling or simply for pleasure.
The study period will be intensive but it will also be enjoyable. Classes are taught by teachers who are not only qualified as English Language Teachers but are also experienced in teaching English to adults.
Classes start at 8.40 and finish at 12.00 with a 20 minute refreshment break during the morning. At 12.00 you will be free to follow your own pursuits or stay on at the school, eg:

Join a Business English afternoon class - (15 hours - Monday to Friday afternoons inclusive (maximum 4 candidates per class) - see the Intensive Business English course.
Join a teacher and the Business English clients for lunch. You may wish to join a teacher and other mature students for lunch at a local pub cafe. You will pay for your own lunch.
Participate in the optional Activity and Social Programme which takes place on some afternoons, evenings and at weekends. Some activites are free and some are charged at cost.
Play golf. If you already have a handicap then you will be able to play at the Torquay Golf Course and if you want to continue improving your English then we will arrange a playing partner for you.
