Thank you very much for all you have done for me! I felt comfortable and happy in this school. This school is very well organised and when I had some problems everybody was interested in helping me! All the teachers I had were very patient and open-minded, which made it possible for me to learn in a harmonious atmosphere. The excursions and the special events were wonderful & SUPER-ORGANISED!! While we were enjoying them we improved not only our English in a relaxed way, also we were able to get to know each other from all over the world, which was a great experience!

Thanks a lot for your email. I'm very happy that I passed the CAE and want to use the opportunity to say thank you.
I made a huge progress while (during) my stay in Torquay and met a lot of very nice teachers and students. I was really happy with the preparation course and at the end, I felt entirely ready to take the test.
Not only did I learn a lot of vocabulary and revised the grammar but I also enjoyed the nice atmosphere at TIS. Everyone is friendly and does his/her best to make the students feel comfortable. I especially liked the small classes. You get to know the others well and the teacher can specifically help you with your weak points. Our class is still in touch and we already met in Switzerland three weeks after we returned :-)
Thanks to Pamela and Alan for the briliant exam preparation. I really liked coming to school although there were holidays ;-) ...
Thanks to the reception for all the support with booking train tickets, for borrowing umbrellas ;-) and for helping with all the questions...

I'll absolutely recommend TIS at my school and hope that I have time to come again.

Do you have any comments about your accommodation? 6/6 for everything. They were better than expected. Very friendly. We had good talks and everything is fine.

The morning classes were: Very good, great grammar teaching and Pronunciation. Afternoon classes: Very helpful for my own business life.

Very friendly and helpful. The Social Programme was great and the atmosphere in school was very good.

Located in a beautiful and quiet city, TIS offers you the possibility to study English with good teachers and friendly classmates from all over the world. It also offers lots interesting and very entertaining activities out of the school and the city. It’s much better than I expected. (David)
It has really been an incredible experience. The teachers are great, the environment is excellent and the classmates really friendly. But we don’t only learn English, all the different trips that the school organize let us know a lot about British Culture, the castles, history, food etc (Mayo)
Youngjo (Bee) Park attended TIS from 6th April 2009 until 25th January 2010. Click here to see his feedback. He took and passed both Cambridge FCE and CAE whilst he was here and then moved on to Business English. Youngjo benefitted from his stay in Torquay, there were less than 5% Korean students here (this is normal) and he stayed with a host family where he was very happy - as you will see from his feedback.

of the renowned Lux Restaurant in Stockholm took the Combination Business English Course in 2011. As well as having a Michelin Star, Henrik also holds a Bocuse d'Or (Oscars of the Culinary World) Silver Medal.

Mandy is one of the students in the 2011 summer photo of our General English students.
Hiroko was an English Language student at TIS in 1995. She came back again to visit in 2009 and was able to meet up with her teachers and other staff that she remembered.
